Safer American Communities was founded on the principle that all Americans deserve to live and raise their families in a safe community.  Sadly, that is no longer a reality for many.  With skyrocketing violent crime, property crime and retail theft throughout the country, many Americans just do not feel safe. This rising crime has left many in our communities feeling anxious, traumatized and forced in to changing the dynamics of their community.  

Rising crime is also costing businesses more than $33 billion per year in theft.  Many businesses cannot afford these losses and must make the tough decision to close locations, further alienating communities from the resources that they need.  Changes must be made, before whole communities are lost to this crime epidemic.

That is where Safer American Communities comes in, an organization that was started by active Law Enforcement Officers with the key goal of supporting policies that will have a direct impact on reducing crime in the community.  It is time that we stand up and fight back against destructive polices that are ruining public safety throughout the country.
